Welcome to the Website of Tryon Presbyterian Church!

If you are interested in an outstanding vocational opportunity, this is it! Tryon, a unique small community, has many of the characteristics and qualities of large city and suburban areas. A fine performing arts center, community chorus, ballet, theatre, a private library named for Sidney Lanier, Hospice of the Foothills, and philanthropic organizations and foundations which support many charities and activities, even a film society! The list goes on!

For your information, Tryon Presbyterian Church is strategically located on the corridor between Charlotte and Atlanta. Some of the nation's finest hospitals and medical centers are within thirty to sixty minutes' drive. Major universities, such as Furman and USC-Spartanburg, and other colleges are close by. Charlotte and Atlanta have Presbyterian theological seminaries as well as divinity schools of other denominations. Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport is a convenient drive from Tryon. Tryon boasts four distinct seasons, and because of its location in the isothermal belt, summers are delightful and winters are very, very gentle!
